Christmas has passed

I am slow getting to this. Sorry. We have been going through the Holidays sick. I had it, and now my loving better 3/4 is going through it.

Christmas day was such a joy. Getting to face time with Donald was such a joy. We spent an hour talking to him. His Aunts were both here, as was his Grandmother. The hardest part was hanging up.

I almost lost it when he called, but was able to hold on. When we were getting ready to finish the call, Donald asked to give a prayer. We all gathered around the Ipad and he offered such a sweet prayer. It brought the Spirit so strong.  I had to excuse myself afterward to get under control, because once the tears started I was not able to hole it back any more. Still a wonderful thing to be able to see this young missionary that I am so proud of.

He is doing wonderful. The writing is on the wall really. Not sure where he will be, but the majority of the Zone Leaders, and all of the AP's are leaving within the next 2-3 months. Donald has been told that he will probably be driving, so they could send him any where in the Mission. Could be right up to the Scotland border.

The accent is starting to come. Sue Clark will be the only one capable of understanding him when he returns probably. LOL

Dad!
It was wonderful being able to facetime you, mum and the family, it was great. I am so great ful to having such a loving family who cares. I am also greatful I am so focused on the lords work so I dont think od home to much and get side tracked. I was nervous I would loose focus from the factiming but I was able to get focused back on the work quickly. This week was great we had the opportunity to visit with as many lonely people in the ward as possible to make their Christmas better. It was so wonderful to see them smile and make their day that much better, it makes me so happy. I love the lords work so much, it brings me so much joy. This week should be another great week to help others start off the new year with a good start. Also transfers is next week so I will be emailing Tuesday next week! Thank you for everything!!!!
